Mike Saxby Joins Advantage Communications Group and Cellular Optimization

Advantage Communications Group, LLC has named Mike Saxby as its Vice President of Business Development. Saxby’s responsibilities will include strategic partnerships, market strategies and channel sales. In addition, Advantage’s sister company, Cellular Optimization, LLC has named Saxby as its Vice President where his role will include channel sales, business development and strategic partnerships.

Saxby recently served as the President of Communication Management Services Inc. (CMS), a telecom master agency, where he successfully built CMS’s managed mobility practice. Before that, he served at the Chief Strategy Officer of Telecom Brokerage Inc. and Group Publisher and Shareholder of Virgo Publishing LLC.

This hiring announcement comes as part of a strategic partnership between Advantage, Cellular Optimization and CMS. With this partnership CMS will leverage the Cellular Optimization managed mobility service while Cellular Optimization will use CMS for wireless carrier activations. Advantage and CMS are part of the Alliance, a consortium of 18 solutions providers.

“This relationship developed as a result of the caring and sharing within the Alliance,” said Saxby. “With our managed mobility services we were performing the same tasks, having similar exponential growth, and decided that we would be significantly more successful together. Additionally, Cellular Optimization owns intellectual property that appears unmatched in the industry delivering greater results to customers.”

David Gardner, President of Advantage and Cellular Optimization said, “This is just the first inning for managed mobility services. We are seeing greater than 100% year-over-year growth and believe that growth is sustainable.  I am very excited to have Mike aboard. I’ve known him for many years and always respected his business acumen, talent developing relationships and overall professionalism. He brings a terrific skill set to our company and we’ve already seen an impact.”
